Can anyone explain please why the nearest station might not be the best station to disembark from?
There is an option to "minimize walking" available in MTA Trip Planner, but it sent me on an even longer roundabout route. I understand this might be due to the original train line I boarded, but I thought there would be transfer option so one can switch to the line/ station closest to destination.
